At this time, we only carry this in Medium/Large which is 5/8 inch wide and 5 feet long. It's best for medium and large breed dogs. We also carry the "Sporn Double-Dog Coupler, X-Small/Small" which may be of interest.
Is the 4 ft length including the length of the coupler?

How long is each individual part? Is the total length of the coupler alone 5 feet? How long is the leash/handle alone?

Great leash

This leash is perfect for out Rottie! We use it to attach both harness and collar to provide extra security on leash. Easily adjustable. Durable!

Broke 1st day

Never made it to my dogs. The adjustable hinge broke shortly after I took it out of the package. Would not recommend.

Amazing if you have 2 dogs

So I have a Bully breed and a Siberian husky, each who want to lead. With this leash there was no pull because they were side by side and finally I had a great walk with my dogs

Perfect for 2 dogs

Swivels at the middle so if the dogs criss cross during a walk, the leash just swivels with it. Also, it has the heavy duty claw clasp instead of the slider closure...this is important for us as we are on the beach a lot and the sand jams up the slider. Love this leash.

Great leash!

This leash works great walking my two miniature golden doodles, so much better than 2 separate leashes. Keeps them together with plenty of room to do their thing, besides, they look so cute walking side by side!

The double dog leash

I was never able to walk both of my labs b/c I have had 5 back surgeries and need to walk with a 3 wheel walker ! After getting my 4 yr old male he would pull so hard I was stuck paying$300.00 a month to have a friend walk him while I could only walk my 12 yr old! A few times when I would go to the dog park my male would break free and caused me all kinds of problems getting him to come back so I tried tying them both together & it worked so I tried finding a leash that would tie them together b/c when he is tied to the older girl he can't get free she won't let him! I found this leash at Chewy's and this one enables them to walk next to each other making it impossible for him to run away! And I have let my friend go and I have been walking the 2 of them daily for over a week w/o any problems!! I walk with my 3 wheel walker every day and it is the happiest I have been since he was a baby not a 100 lb "Big Boy! I can honestly say this Double Leash is the best buy ever!! I should add I also walk them with a harness attached to both dogs it works much better using that with the leash!

I recommend this leash If your dogs differ in size

I have a lab mix and a beagle mix. So there sizes are pretty different I was looking for a leash to walk them with that would train them to walk together and this one is perfect!!

Major design flaw

This leash allows to to adjust the length for each dog, which is great as long as you have two matched, forward moving dogs. The second one dog stops, or pulls forward, the locking latch slips and the leash length for each dog is adjusted to the pull. I ended up having to hold the individual leashes, instead of the handle (which was quite comfortable) to try and keep the preferred lengths. The end result was the same as using two separate leashes- not what I was hoping for.
