The small size carrier does not include wheels, but all other crates have wheels that snap on and off as needed. The small carrier is 6.4 pounds, the medium is 11 pounds, the large is 15.25 pounds, the x-large is 20 pounds, the xx-large is 26 pounds and the xxx-large is 43.25 pounds.

Bought these for my goldens in preparation for an upcoming overseas move, will update this in a few months after travel has been accomplished. Definitely make sure you're getting the correct size for your dog. XL works for my golden retrievers who are both 28"tall x 50ish" long, with enough room for them to turn around and whatnot. They come with yravem stickers which are neat, amd the enclosed metal bolts for air travel work great, but I recommend this website for other accessories: https://www.dryfur.tv/deluxe-pet-airline-travel-kit-for-cargo/ Other than that, the wheels are good and smooth, with wheel locks. They're also easily installed and removed. On the whole, I like them. Time will tell if they endur the stresses of transatlantic air travel, though.

good size!

I ordered the 35inch which i believe is the xtra large. my dog is a 25lb border collie puppy, but he is LONG and TALL so the dimensions for travel were hard to find

I ordered the 35inch which i believe is the xtra large. my dog is a 25lb border collie puppy, but he is LONG and TALL so the dimensions for travel were hard to find. The crate is roughly 35.5 inches long and 25 inches wide (measured from the outside) it has plastic clasps that lock, 13 bolts all around, comes with “live animal” stickers and an information sheet that you can fill out for travel and add to the top of the crate along with their food, removable wheels, 2 attachable food bowls. i’ll be flying with hawaiian airlines, he will be part of my checked baggage. their instructions are clear: no crate bigger than 36 inches, handle on top, must have holes for zip ties, metal bolts holding the top and bottom together, ventilation on 4 sides, an accessible food and water tray, no wheels. this checks all of their boxes. my dog fits perfectly when standing up, he looks small in the picture because he enjoyed being curled up in the corner lol. i received within 5 business days, no damage, everything included, appears sturdy. it really depends on your dogs dimensions wether or not it’d fit comfortably, i sort of just guessed if i’m being honest. overall, do recommend.

Runs very small/international travel

First off the size listed isn’t the one I bought but it won’t allow me to select the size I bought for the review. I originally bought the one based on the measurements

First off the size listed isn’t the one I bought but it won’t allow me to select the size I bought for the review. I originally bought the one based on the measurements of my dog and recommended size based off of that. My dog is about 45 lb. She is a medium size dog. When I got it and checked, it was too small to be compliant with airline specifications allowing her to stand in her natural position without having to duck her head or even turn around so I ordered the XXL. It does have metal screws and was accepted by the airline (Lufthansa) for an international flight from the US to Europe. The handles on top are flimsy and when we arrived, one of the handles was gone as well as one of the plastic pieces meant to secure the sides of the crate. So it worked but the sizing is inaccurate and the build is a little flimsy in key areas. It does fold down into halves which can be stacked for easier transport. The wheels snap on and off easily which made the airport less of a hassle. I think they used a basic program to correlate dog sizes with crate size because they make no sense in the context of what this product is advertised for: airline requirements for travel. XXL is supposed to be for giant breeds and my dog is smaller than a purebred Labrador.

Arrived broken

3/4 corners were cracked for the top piece. I was offered a partial refund which is roughly 19-20% of the cost. It’s a very expensive kennel for the quality.

This met the airline specs perfectly. The removable wheels are fantastically easy to put on and off so we can wheel our furry child through the airport.

Easy to assemble. I would have preferred that the wing nuts screwed from under the lip not from the top. That way it would not cause snags. The bolts only goes in from the bottom of the lip to the top. If it were reversed the flat portion would be flushed on top not under the lip.
