Sportsman's Pride Field Master 26/18 Limited Ingredient Dry Dog Food, 40-lb bag

We have a Rottweiler, Ausiedoodle and a Maltipoo. I use to try to feed them their own food but with life that gets hard, so I was searching for ONE that all of the dogs could eat. This one seems to be doing well. All of the dogs are tolerating it well, no upset stomachs, no gas and they all seem energetic. Going by the suggested feeding amount doesn’t seem like much food, but it does seem to fill them up, and they have put a little weight on, which for 2 of the dogs was actually needed, one we may have to walk a little more. The dogs seem satisfied, and the Rottweiler’s coat seems to have a bit more shine to it.

Our dog Hagrid is an 18 month old AKC registred Cane Corso. He participates in bitesports, lure coursing, and recently started training for weight pulling. He is fit and very active. Price per LB the fieldmaster dog food is a fair deal for a linted ingredient kibble with a meat meal as its first ingredient. Hagrid had no issues eating it mixed with his normal amount of raw meat/other add ons. Energy levels and stools remained normal. He could perform at a high level as usual. I recently tried the limited ingredient dog food for my pup and while he initially enjoyed it, he grew bored with it quickly. As a pet owner, it's always a top priority to ensure that my dog is getting the best possible nutrition, and this food delivered on that. Overall, I'm still impressed with the quality of this food, but the flavor might not be exciting enough for some dogs. If your dog is a picky eater or gets bored with their food quickly, you might want to consider mixing it up with other flavors, toppers, or brands.
