I purchased this to replace one of a similar design that I used for over 10 years until one of the ‘teeth’ finally broke. Since my old one lasted so long I figured this would hold up just as well. Well, not so much, it just broke. I realized it felt a bit flimsier than my old scooper, but figured it would be okay. I noticed that on my old one the scooper actually went around the pole and was screwed in, but on the new one the scooper just has plastic that slides into the pole and is held in by plastic pins (the type you squeeze in then they pop out into the holes in the pole). The pins held up, however the plastic that slides into the pole broke right at the base of the scooper.
It might be fine for small dogs, but definitely not for my Great Dane.
It lasted less than 2 months.
