Birds hate it.
We were so excited to try this but the birds were not. We put it up in the area of our feeding stations that had the highest number of visitors. No birds would touch it. So we moved it to a slow area. One bird touched it but flew away very quickly. Since then no other birds have tried it. They don’t even attempt to check it out. The squirrels don’t even attempt to get it.
Birds won’t touch it
I have never had a product that is so dislike by my neighborhood birds. It has been in the feeder for weeks and looks untouched. Very disappointed.
easiest suet packaging I've seen
This was not only easy to open, it was the biggest block of suet I've seen for a small/standard feeder. No sloping edges. The birds love it. While I love the ease of the packaging, my only note would be to switch to paper instead of plastic. Though since there's no tray, it's already less plastic than other brands.
Doesn’t get gooey in rain
This suet dough is great where I live, where I get winter rains, not snow. It is easier to handle than regular suet, and the birds love it.
no wasteful packaging
Its a great product that does not have any plastic wrapping, I love it, everyone who sells suet should do this.
Our backyard birds love the nutty suet and so do the squirrels!
All of our wild birds go crazy for this stuff, the sparrows in particular love it. Some days they will go through 2 full suet doughs plus their bird seed! The squirrels don't seem to bother this at all, but even the woodpecker comes by and munches on this. Two things I really like about it-it's not greasy/messy and they are individually wrapped. (although not eco friendly) They are much easier to open and drop into a suet feeder than the ones that come in trays and are made with tallow.
St. Albans Bay suet plus peanut suet do wild bird food
So nice to get a value pack of suet rather than go all the way to the store every time I run out. My birds love the suet and the woodpeckers are beautiful, as are all the other birds!!
Waste of money
The birds did not eat this and it molded in the feeder.
Not a favorite
Purchased because of the price. Only birds showing any interest are the woodpeckers. Will have to be happy with that for awhile.......
