Food came in "vacuum sealed" packages that were NOT vacuum sealed. Some were not even sealed at all and were open to the air. All of them were covered with crystaline

I have six (yes, SIX!) Yorkshire Terriers between the ages of 6 and 14, and they are the pickiest eaters on the planet. We've always given them high-quality dry kibble, with a little canned food mixed in for flavor-but mealtime was always hit or miss...until now! I decided to try Stella & Chewy's frozen grain-free food after spotting on Chewy.com, and WOW-what a total game changer! The moment I open the container, they smell the fresh ingredients and start whining and spinning in excitement. I warm it slightly in the microwave after thawing and mix it with their kibble, and then, POOF-bowls are licked clean. Even my pickiest eater, who usually skips meals, is now not only finishing her food- she's begging for more. I honestly couldnt believe it! I feel amazing knowing they're eating something that's not only delicious but made from real, human grade ingredients like apples, carrots, and chicken, with no weird fillers. Just clean wholesome food I can trust, sent directly to my home. On top of that, its convenient and simple to prepare. It stays fresh in the freezer ( up to 12 months) until ready to use. A huge bonus when feeding a pack of six! Stella & Chewy's has earned a forever spot in our freezer. We're looking forward to trying the other flavors in our next auto shipment. If the reaction to the first flavor, Chick a Lick'n, is any indication, I'm sure they'll be a hit too!

My dog loved this product. It came shipped frozen with dry ice and a piece of cardboard separating the food from the dry ice. It came with four frozen pouches of

My dog loved this product. It came shipped frozen with dry ice and a piece of cardboard separating the food from the dry ice. It came with four frozen pouches of food. I stored them in the freezer and then took one out at a time to defrost in the fridge for 24-30 hours. I then opened the pouch and cut up the food in a separate container like the online instructions said. My pitbull went crazy for this food. She loved it. I liked that you can actually see the pieces of carrots, squash and kale. I gave her half the pouch for breakfast and the other half for dinner. I like that it was gently cooked as well, and not raw. This can be used as a topper too. It’s also human grade food which is nice.

This is the first time that we have ever tried something other than dry dog food. It was convenient that it came frozen. I didn’t have to worry about it sitting

This is the first time that we have ever tried something other than dry dog food. It was convenient that it came frozen. I didn’t have to worry about it sitting in the fridge too long. I could thaw it out whenever it was convenient for me. I was able to feed two large dogs and a small dog on just one bag. After eating They are full enough that they just lay down and get a good nights rest it very much fills them up. It made me feel better, giving them something other than dry dog food that they were really excited to eat. I will definitely use again!

Everything came frozen, I’ve had experiences where the dry ice was gone and the dog food starting to thaw. This time was a good experience. I would definitely recommend! I did add this to a little bit of the food they normal eat.

If you’re thinking about switching your pets to a fresh food diet, I highly recommend starting with Stella & Chewy’s fresh meals. The food arrives frozen and thaws in the fridge within 24 hours. Just be sure to only thaw what you’ll use within 24–48 hours, as it can spoil after that. When served fresh, the food looks and smells great, you can see the variety of vegetables mixed in and it’s fully balanced with essential vitamins and minerals. My boys devoured it and were immediately asking for more! I’ll definitely be purchasing it again and recommend it to any pet parent exploring a fresh food option for their dogs.

Ok but quite pricey!

I’ve been purchasing frozen human grade food as a topper for dry kibble for my lab and golden. They seem to enjoy this as well as the other brand I currently use

I’ve been purchasing frozen human grade food as a topper for dry kibble for my lab and golden. They seem to enjoy this as well as the other brand I currently use and they ate everything right up. The only downside to this product is the price. $45 for a 4 pack of 16 oz. pouches seems extremely high. I used one pouch for 2 days for 2 meals for 2 pups which means I would need a new shipment every week. That’s too high compared to other brands.
