Dinner Morsels minimize the time needed to thaw before serving. Measure your pet’s meal portion when frozen according to feeding guidelines below; do not microwave. The product will thaw in minutes. Some liquid when completely thawed is normal. Always have clean, fresh water available at mealtime.
Optimal feeding amounts may vary with age, size, breed, and activity level. Please refer to the feeding chart below as an initial recommendation and adjust food amount as needed to reach the desired weight goal.

I have heard that this product is being discontinued by the manufacturer. I have ordered it twice from Chewy. This first time I ordered was during the Holidays, and the product arrived thawed (it's a quick thaw product!). I took a chance and ordered it again, and it arrived still frozen. I think the product itself is ideal food for cats. My cat Tom LOVES it. There really isn't a replacement since other frozen rabbit products contains lots of things along with the rabbit. This is pretty much mainly rabbit.
My senior cats like it
My 2 senior males seem to feel better with a diet consisting of raw food. Both cats instantly liked the rabbit morsels. One of my 6 year old female cats is experimenting
My 2 senior males seem to feel better with a diet consisting of raw food. Both cats instantly liked the rabbit morsels. One of my 6 year old female cats is experimenting with it, and it is my goal that all of my cats will eventually eat it. I like the way it is packaged, in 1 pound bundles, which are easy to handle. I pour it out frozen into their bowls, wait 5 minutes and then cut it into bite sized pieces. I estimated 5 morsels to be around 50 calories.

My cat and hedgehog love these frozen bites! They are larger in size than other brands we buy, but they defrost very quickly and are gobbled up each time. My hedgie especially really enjoys the texture of these bites. I’m so excited to be able to add some protein rotation to their diets. The small bags are great at keeping the food fresh and avoiding large frozen clumps that are impossible to break up. We would love a variety pack in the future! So far they have tried the Duck/Goose and Rabbit and they are both winners.

Okay as a treat
I tried these with my two 5 year old cats. They’ve never had raw food before and rarely wet food, and in the beginning they truly did not seem to realize this
I tried these with my two 5 year old cats. They’ve never had raw food before and rarely wet food, and in the beginning they truly did not seem to realize this was food. It took 5-6 offerings of this over the course of two weeks to get one to eat it. One cat eventually figured it out. She seems to like it. The other cat does not. Even smashed and mixed with his dry food, he won’t eat it. And if it’s mixed with the dry food he won’t eat that either. I hand fed him some of it, actually put it in his mouth for him, and he still won’t eat it. Made the most hilarious faces. He just doesn’t like it. He eats wet food (and sometimes human food, ugh) but not this. So we’re 50% here. The little balls/pellets are frozen and it takes a while to get them room temp. You have to do some planning to feed this. They won’t eat it cold, but you can’t heat it because then it’s cooked. In a house kept around 75°F four blobs of this food in a plastic bowl takes over an hour to reach room temperature. That’s not super convenient for me so this will stay an occasional treat for the one cat that likes it. Once it’s thawed it’s a very very wet, mushy, little blob. Similar in texture to typical puréed wet cat food.

I will say my three cats are fussy to start with and something new can start a refusal to eat. I decided to really go off grid with rabbit. What a surprise two out of three loved it. After several days of rabbit two times a day the male cat is still happy with his new food. My female will only eat if she gets some rabbit and some of her regular canned food. If I give her just the rabbit, she walks away. She is demanding that she gets her way. My third cat won’t eat it at all, I tried sneaking a small bite into her regular canned, she picked it out and set it aside. Her brother was happy to finish it. It’s an easy to prep food, pull it out of the freezer 5-10 minutes ahead of time, break it up, and serve. I like that it has organ meat in there as well.

Stella & Chewy's Frozen Rabbit was a big hit!
I received the box of Stella & Chewy's Frozen Rabbit nuggets and the product stayed frozen throughout transit to my door. I opened the box immediately and poured
I received the box of Stella & Chewy's Frozen Rabbit nuggets and the product stayed frozen throughout transit to my door. I opened the box immediately and poured out some of the nuggets to thaw. It doesn't take that long to thaw once the nuggets are out in room temperature. As soon as they were soft enough I ground them up in my mini food processor and made a couple of patties out of them. I broiled the patties about 4 minutes per each side. I know they're meant to be served raw but my dogs aren't used to a raw diet. So after I let the cooked patties sit a couple of minutes I broke them up into bite size pieces for my 2 girls and they loved it! I served it again the next couple of days and they cleaned their pans each time so the rabbit is a big hit with my 2 little picky chihuahuas. I have to change up their food every 2 or 3 days so they don't get bored having the same thing every day. I have enough to last another couple of weeks and then I'll probably get some more of the Stella & Chewy's frozen food since it was such a big hit.

First off I’m going to say that my cat is very very very picky and she really wasn’t all that interested in this product but that being said I wanna talk about the
First off I’m going to say that my cat is very very very picky and she really wasn’t all that interested in this product but that being said I wanna talk about the quality of this product. The Nuggets are nicely sized they defrost quick. I would shred them a little bit with a fork and you could see the meat in there the texture was very good. The quality quite high the ease-of-use amazing I could see this as being wonderful addition to food or if you have just wanted to give it alone .as I mentioned she’s very picky, she would nibble on this , which shows the quality , most stuff she smells and walks away
