About Stella and Chewy’s
In 1997, Marie Moody adopted a dog named Stella from a local animal shelter. She soon decided that Stella needed a companion and adopted a sick pup named Chewy, who joined the family and helped forge the company’s history. On the advice of a veterinarian, Marie began feeding Chewy a raw diet to help with his health issues. He quickly recovered, and both he and Stella thrived on their new food. The experience led Marie to pursue her passion for pet nutrition and start her own business—Stella & Chewy’s.

Pooch is just not into them
Hi all, I’m sure these are great treats, but just not for mine. She won’t touch them.
My dog loves them!
I can see a few 1-star reviews on these, so adding my experience. This was my first time purchasing these (April 2023) and my dog seems to love them. They aren’t as hard as regular jerky. They’re quite easy to break and/or crumble into my dogs food (which is my primarily purpose for them). I have a picky eater, and she’s taken to them quite nicely! I’ll definitely rebuy.
Love at First Bite
Willa, a Poodle Mix, can be VERY PICKY when it comes to her snacks. That being said, she ate these like they were the best snack ever.
Awesome training treat
I give these as a reward for my puppy while training. I break each square into pieces to make them “training size.”
A Favorite Treat
I use these treats for training my dog and also when she returns from grooming. My dog happily devours these treats. I highly recommend them.
Gone bad?
I do not recommend these. They used to be great - were jerky bites like the description. I purchased 4 bags and they are all dried and crumbly. I don't feel comfortable feeding these to my dog - I'm not sure if they've gone bad.
Not the same as the ones from the store
These treats used to be amazing, now only the ones from Chewy are dried out and really crumbly. We will only be buying from the stores unless Chewy can store them more safely.
DO NOT PURCHASE!!!
Chewy needs to remove this product and have it inspected because these are not jerky treats. They are hard and does not match the item description. I am sure there’s something wrong with this brand Stella and Chewy and wont be purchasing again
Dried out and gross.
These treats are dried out and crumble in your hand. My dog typically loves this particular treat, but won’t even eat these. Lot #2259C66A1
hard and not edible
I purchased this before and my puppy loved it, the jerky was super soft and looked edible. This time I ordered multiple because My puppy really liked it but it came rock solid and super dry
