Every morning I "mix"a daily food ration of several kinds of wet food for my 5 cats, ALL of whom have varying dietary requirements: one is skinny, one is fat, one has FIV , one is a fussy little girl, and the last one is OK with anything. This being the case, I insist on good quality and palatable. The Sttella brand is a good fit for us. If I had to say one negative thing, it would be that the color is a bit off-putting. (But that's a problem for me, not the cats!)

High in real chicken and salmon

Pate' type cat food without guar gum, xanthan gum. Uses a little tapioca for the texture instead. I have been searching for canned cat food with lower phosphorus

Pate' type cat food without guar gum, xanthan gum. Uses a little tapioca for the texture instead. I have been searching for canned cat food with lower phosphorus and this is acceptable with about 50% dry matter basis. I'm trying to be proactive with my diabetic cats' kidneys. I have learned that synthetic tricalcium phosphate, phosphoric acid etc. are added to many cat foods, even this one. These may be harmful to kidney health. Weruva has a low phosphorus canned food that is very low phos. but is not suitable for the entire diet. My diabetic cat likes both options but he never turns down anything!
