Quality Less mess option

Quality is exceptional with samon chunks as large as an inch and a half down to half inch in width with various lengths. Some chunks are more square than others

Quality is exceptional with samon chunks as large as an inch and a half down to half inch in width with various lengths. Some chunks are more square than others. The fishy smell is minimal with both but more apparent with the Single-Source Salmon. The dogs definitely approve of the taste of both and would have devoured all three bags if allowed in one sitting. I tried rehydrating both, not necessary, but I wanted to see how this would work if included as "topper" of sorts with their regular raw meal. I'll say the Single-Source Salmon rehydrated better than the Shine Salmon and Sweet Potato since these are ground pellets that were dehydrated, they seem to be denser and more suited to being fed dry. Both are equally easy to give as a high value, very nutritional treat. Overall, this is a great option for those wanting a minimally processed option for including some salmon in your dogs diet without the hassle of dealing with raw salmon. I see these as great options to bring say on a camping trip or similar activity with your dog.

Tasty salmon but crushed in package

I like giving my dogs salmon because it’s healthy so I was looking forward to giving them these treats. They eagerly ate them but most of the pieces were crushed

I like giving my dogs salmon because it’s healthy so I was looking forward to giving them these treats. They eagerly ate them but most of the pieces were crushed into powder. I just took out a handful and sprinkled them in their bowls to eat. You can see that it’s real salmon with pieces of skin. I will just use it as a food topper. The tiny pieces might be better for a small dog.

I gave 4 stars though because they are a bit small and once you get towards the end of the bag, they get smushed. I have 2 dogs over 50 pounds so they get a few of these each time as they are very small. Probably a perfect size for smaller dogs.
