Long story short, I have a paint that almost always goes through a gas colic episode the same month every year. The last time my vet mentioned she smelled a fermented smell while she tubed him, that made me think. Is food not being digested quickly enough and causing some gas? This is not medical advice at all but I researched digestive catalyst supplements and carefully selected this one. He's been on it since this spring and had made it through his unlucky month without any issues and also noticeably decreased his belly bloating aka hay belly. I also included a TON more fiber into his diet and electrolytes, magnesium, and a high quality omega 3 and 6. All systems go so far, I have high hopes!
