T*H*E Stuff for dogs is a proprietary blend of highly functional silicones that are pH controlled, hypoallergenic and non-toxic. Those with sensitive skin should perform a patch test prior to use.

Do you wash this after applying or do you leave it on and towel dry the dog before brushing?

Mix 1 oz of The Stuff with 1 quart of water. Pour mixture over dog after shampooing and before toweling. The undercoat comes out easily and the product will penetrate tangles better than spraying.

can this be used on cats aswell?

This concentrate does not contain synthetic fragrance. This unique leave-in hair conditioner and dematting formula is hypoallergenic and non-toxic. It conditions the coat and penetrates mats and tangles for a timesaving comb-out.

Coats shining like GLASS

Amazing, nothing compares. Use SPARINGLY! I do the lightest spray (outside so as not to have slippery floors!) on a damp coat and get the glossiest gleaming finish

Amazing, nothing compares. Use SPARINGLY! I do the lightest spray (outside so as not to have slippery floors!) on a damp coat and get the glossiest gleaming finish on their coats. People are always asking what we feed our dogs, why are they so shiny! "It's just The Stuff!" The best. Nothing comparable out there if you want the silkiest, shiniest, sleekest results.

I've been using the stuff for dogs since I started grooming back in 2018, and continue to do so! The fact that its a hypoallergenic formula and has no scent is wonderful

Be careful though, the product does make surfaces slippery so just be aware where the fallout spray lands!

The Stuff for dogs is honestly AMAZING! Ive been hearing about it for years and finally decided to purchase. The whole process was quick and easy, and everything arrived in perfect condition. In itself, it is an amazing conditioner that leaves my dog soft for weeks, and the detangled is like magic. Im so sure id be doing a lot more brushing if not for this. Plus, while not an *official* use, an amazing side-effect of the conditioning and detangling, de-shedding my dog is so much easier. Id recommend this to anyone!

As the bottle says, if you read it carefully, you do want to keep this Stuff off your floor (like wait till the dogs get done shaking off after a bath before you start using it) or your floors will be crazy slick. It’s the silicone. Second, if you’re someone who grooms your dog very frequently and always feels the need to use this kind of product, I’d be careful because you don’t really want much silicone on their skin. So this isn’t a replacement for a conditioner for hair/fur when you bathe your pup. But it really is a very helpful product for my two long-haired dogs.

This really helps with mats behind the ears of a long double coated puppy. Other products for mats did not do as well as this product.

Fast acting

Just amazing how you spray manage in the coat wait a few minutes dry and slicker brush out the knots. It even dematted some rough patches. Don't spray too much

Helped get the tangles out

Due to an injury, I was unable to brush my English Cocker out for several weeks. We also had snow and rain. Needless to say he acquired some significant matting

Due to an injury, I was unable to brush my English Cocker out for several weeks. We also had snow and rain. Needless to say he acquired some significant matting during that time. I used The Stuff directly on the matts as well as a general spray over the entire coat. I was able to get all the matts out with only minimum effort and his coat was very silky and smooth when I was finished. I am quite pleased with the results.
