SucroMate (deslorelin acetate) Injectable for Horses, 10-mL

Active Ingredients: Deslorelin acetate

Inactive Ingredients: Propylene carbonate; sucrose acetate isobutyrate.

Sucromate is FDA-approved for inducing ovulation in estrual mares.

SucroMate Equine (deslorelin acetate) is a sustained release, injectable GnRH analog indicated for inducing ovulation within 48 hours of treatment in mares with a follicle between 30 and 40mm in diameter.

SucroMate Equine should be stored refrigerated (36-46°F). However, to improve syringability and ease of preparing doses, it is recommended to remove SucroMate from the fridge a few hours prior to use to allow it to warm up to room temperature . Alternatively, the vial can be placed in lukewarm water as this facilitates warming SucroMate to room temperature.

Short term warming and rolling the product in your hands prior to filling the syringes will not reduce the efficacy of SucroMate. Return product to refrigeration (36-46°F) for long term storage. Do not use microwaves or hot water baths to warm SucroMate.
