The product itself works amazing. My boy has a horrible hot spot on his neck making a cone impossible to use. After bathing him in a medicated shampoo this stuff is really helping him keep from irritating it by scratching between bathes. A few times a day and we're golden! It has a slight apple/chemical smell at first but doesnt linger. The spray part itself sticks making application a little tedious if he is squirming. But im sure its just bad luck still functioning just fine. The important thing is the medicine works!

The spray does not work. When I went to spray it for the first time the spray nozzle got stuck and the medicine leaked all on my hands. I was trying the spray in hopes it would be less messy than the cream but I think I’m just going to stick with the cream. The medicine works that’s why I’m giving it 3 stars.

Rosie’s hot spot on her tail

This worked fairly fast for Rosie’s hot spot on her tail. As you know she did cross the rainbow bridge. I will keep it to use on one of the other dogs.

German Shepherd has Allergies, and every summer grass causes her paws to itch. She takes daily allergy meds, but it’s not enough, and she itches, chewing her irritated paws every chance she gets. I gently wash her cute paws with small amount of hypoallergenic shampoo, and I know initially this convenient spray stung, but within a minute she calmed down and soon was peacefully curled up and sleeping, finally leaving her irritated paws alone. The redness was gone within 24 hours and now she lets me spray without any resistance. This product works because she leaves her paws alone for hours.

Every summer my old dachshund starts itching and develops a rash on his stomach and chest. My other dog does not do this, and neither one has fleas. This product works great to stop the itching and provide relief. I bathe them both first, then spray the itchy guy with Sulfodene as needed, which is usually three or four times a day. I use this with PetArmor Antihistamine Medication for Allergies for Dogs - 1/2 tablet twice a day for his small size. This clears up the itching and redness in a couple of days. The expiration date is still good from last year's purchase, and I was relieved to have it on hand this year! The spray button gets stuck, and needs to be pulled up after each spray, but no big deal. This not only works fast, but actually seems to heal up my dog's skin.
