Highly Recommend!
Purchased the Metal Expansion Walk-Thru Dog Gate to keep our German Shepherd puppy out of our carpeted bedroom while she was in heat. We have French doors that push open so it wasn't an option to just close the doors. We didn't really want to spend so much since we only needed it for a few weeks but there weren't a lot of options at the time. I was planning to resell it afterward to recoup some of our money, however, it works so well we decided to keep it for times when we clean our carpet and it needs to be drying or when we have rainy days and the puppy's paws are dirty so we can prevent her from trekking it on the carpet. The gate can be taken down quickly (or put back up quickly) because the brackets that fasten to the wall can be left in place and the gate just slides right off/on. It is a really well thought out product and worked great for us. The metal is also quite substantial and the gate is sturdy. The door is easy to open and close and can't be accidentally opened by your pet. Kudos to the designer of this product. We're impressed! (For the record, our puppy is 15 months old and 85 lbs.)
Beautiful pet gate
I’m so glad we ordered this! Not only did we receive it in record time, it’s a beautiful and sturdy gate that keeps our dogs in their side yard.
Nooooooo go for us
Okay so the description says the gate is one height but fails to mention the rest of the gate is extremely short... no way this was keeping any of my dogs in.. we wasted all our time taking down another gate to put this up to find out it would not work.. so then had to take it back down. What a waste of money for something we cannot use. Disappointing.
Very Sturdy, Visually Pleasing
Took a bit to get it adjusted, but once it was done, it is very solid. I don't recall seeing that it is a screw-in rather than compression type of attachment. The instructions could be better for non-builder type folks.
Sturdy, nice design.
It’s very sturdy and nice design compared to others I have bought in the past. It holds up well for my two 2 high energy medium size rescue pups. Putting it together was hard but well worth it.

Super easy to install, parts should have been labeled tho. Kept my pups away from the front door so my guests could enter without being molested by overly excited dogs. My new puppy stays in the kitchen when we are out, so she can't get at my furniture. All around great product.
Will have to work
It took my husband hours to install this 6 foot wide gate. At 86, I have difficulty opening and closing the gate door. I hope my daughter's untrained big dogs are held in the puppy room when needed.

Got my gate up and I absolutely love it! Simple to install, and it looks great!
Works Great
Had it up in 20 minutes and have been using to block off kitchen & dinning room for our Great Dane Pup that is now 3 months old
A Great buy
The Expansion Gate was an excellent buy. I was able to fit it exactly in the 57.5 inch gap to my kitchen area. To be able to open and close with one hand is a plus.
