Cows 🐮 & Goats 🐐

We tried this with both our goats and cows for a couple days. Our heifers loved this addition to their feed. The bag its self did come with a 4” tare, not thrilled

We tried this with both our goats and cows for a couple days. Our heifers loved this addition to their feed. The bag its self did come with a 4” tare, not thrilled about that. In the other hand, It smells good, and there is a lot compressed in the bag. They enjoy this entirely as an addition to their grain. We have zero waste when it comes to the cows, there is nothing left of it after they are done eating. The goats how ever, we’re not as into it. We feed hay, and grain daily with a free choice mineral. To clarify we have 9 goats total that pen together. We put this in their night time pen in addition to what they normally get and after a week, only about half of it is gone. They just don’t show much interest in this like the cows do. In the future I would definitely buy this again for the show cows.

I fed Sunglo’s “2 the fullest with cob,” as a feed supplement for my Nigerian dwarf wethers. They enjoy the foraged feed. The feed was compressed within a 40 pound bale. The presence of a sweet fragrance drew the goats to eat the feed. Unfortunately, they did leave behind the corn cob. We give a generous serving daily. The nutritional value appears to be satisfactory since both goats are filling out nicely and we reduce the daily intake of free choice hay.

I tried out 2 The Fullest Body Fill by Sunglo Feeds for my large herd, and it didn’t last long because they went through it quick. The feed arrived fresh, had a nice smell to it, and the cows all seemed to really enjoy it. I like that it was easy to feed out and that every animal went right for it without hesitation. With a big herd, that matters.

Chopped nice for easy feeding from a trough or pan. The cattle cleaned it up, but at least some of the goats left some cobb bits. It smells pretty nice and sweetly

It smells pretty nice and sweetly fermented, reminding me of balage somewhat. I am still feeding a bit at a time for the goats, but the cattle would probably go through the bag much more quickly. 😄
