I have a 44 gallon tank that is rather deep. With this scraper I can reach most of the sides from the top access lid without getting my hand wet. The unit is quite sturdy and not at all flimsy. It does have a very sharp blade that needs to be protected when not in use. I did this with a piece of cardboard from the package and a rubber band. Not very pretty but functional. Overall, this is the best scraper I have ever purchased. I highly recommend it.
