The measurements do not include the rope. This bird and reptile toy measures 14 inches from one end of the wooden step to the other end of the wooden step.

I’ve bought many of these ladders for my cockatiels in the past and they really love playing on them. They are usually thick and sturdy and easy for the birds to sleep on. However, this recent order I received the wrong product, or something significantly smaller. The wood pieces are thinner, shorter, the rope gaps are huge, and they are too unstable for the birds to sit on. Also the attached clips are different.

Christmas for my parakeets

I got them a new bridge......they will not go near it. Most of the orders for toys for my birds have been turn out to fpr BIG birds. Chewy is not the best place
