    Sun-Sun Filter

By Daniel on Mar 6, 2021

Cheaply made. However it doesn't leak & is very quiet. Does the job for much less than Ehiem.

    Perfect for a nano aquarium.

By Matt on May 22, 2019

This canister filter is perfect for my 10 gallon aquarium, it was actually easy to set up I have never had a canister filter and I still managed to know what to do so the minimal instructions were fine, the suction on it isn't the best but for a nano tank it does fine, it's super quiet surprisingly, one thing I did not like is I had to put it in a bucket to hold it up because the pump on it makes it fall over even when it is full of water, other than that it's well worth the money and is better and more customizable than a hang on back filter.

    Does the job for now.

By Dede on May 12, 2019

Wanted a change from HOB filter on 20 gallon long with clawed frogs. Wanted something with less vibration and calmer water. Bit of a pain to get it working initially, but it is quiet and seems to be working well, keeping water clear at least. The attachments are flimsy, I cracked one of the 'U' pipes trying to get it to fit rim of tank (fixed with silicone) and I made larger holes in spray bar. I do prefer the more powerful HOB type, but the frogs seem to prefer this one. I don't regret buying it, but I don't think I'd buy another one.

    Quiet filter

By Jaxx on May 31, 2019

I love this filter! It is a fantastic pre-filter for our bio-tank. We are getting a second one to use as the cleaning filter. Easy set up and no ugly filter hanging in the tank.

SunSun HW-602B Aquarium Canister Filter, 106 GPH

By Fishmom on Jun 10, 2018

This filter seems to be working much better than my other filters were. The only problem I had was following the directions to get it operational. They were very minimal, which normally is a good thing, but this one I think needed a little more detail. Otherwise I am very happy with this filter.

    Bang for the buck !

By BDMSBio on Mar 10, 2018

People expecting this to be an Eheim are clowns. It does exactly what it is designed to do, filters small tanks well. Better than any HOB filter period. I have them all. Including AC and cannisters including Eheim . People critical opf these don't know how to use them. There are man, many uses for them . I have daisy chained them, used as pre filters to big cannisters, filled with carbon tempoorarily, , filled with just floss for clearing cloudy water ... on and on... in this hobby the fun is in how you innovate.... my most stable 20L tanks have these... filled with pummice rock and floss..... the sponges are ok that come with it but take up too much room. The tabs that hold the top on come People expecting this to be an Eheim are clowns. It does exactly what it is designed to do, filters small tanks well. Better than any HOB filter period. Chugging along so far

By warmack on May 8, 2018

Seems kind of cheap but has been chugging along so far. Tons of sponge for biomedia and space for fitler floss.
