My sun conure is a little hesitant to actually sit on the perch but he was instantly interested in hanging upside down from the side of his cage and chewing on the toys. Took one star off because it was a little tricky attaching it to the cage. I ended up needing my dad to screw the perch on while I held it all in place.
My Conure Loves This!
My GCC has been torturing this toy daily. It really helps keep her busy when she needs to be in her cage. Will definitely be ordering another one! I like the fact too that I'll at least be able to salvage the perch!
My conures loved it!
I have a black capped conure and a green cheek conure and they loved their Christmas toy. They destroyed it in 3 days. I definitely recommend this item if your birds love destroying and biting things.
my caique likes it
unfortunately the rod was useless. It is not long enough to go through the wicker AND through the cage bars. So I don't use it. I've hung the toy near a hammock and ledge my bird has and he climbs around and plays with it just fine.
It attacked my conure!
I don't normally post reviews unless they are absolutely needed. I'm back to work and need lots of toys for my green cheek to forage and play so I got this toy along with others to fill in his cage with new toys. Not even a half hour after having this toy in his cage, one piece is wrapped around his neck and another piece around his foot. Please only use this toy under extreme supervision!! I attached a picture of where the one piece broke to wrap around his neck and his foot was trapped in the bottom loop..
Looks great, but horrible execution
This toy looks cool, but you can't actually screw the perch to the cage, since the part you screw isn't near long enough to go through even a small barred bird cage. A lot of money for something that won't work as intended
Good toy, bad clip!
Our Lovebird does really seem to like this toy however the metal clip meant to use for attaching it to the cage literally immediately broke out of the box. It's got lots of little bits and pieces, stuff for him to shred and I do like that it has its own perch even though it was hard to put on. Overall a good toy for smaller birds but needs better hardware.
It may take some getting used to
Well...my Senegal wasn't afraid of the toy, but hasn't warmed up to it yet. Seems sturdy enough once clipped at the top and has the perch piece attached. Got one of his little feet hung up on one of the loops. Going to have to watch him around this toy.
Fun for Budgies
My Budgies and Bourkes love this toy! I may have to order a few more!
A bit disappointed
This product was not quite what I was expecting - seems a whole lot more to it as pictured than in person. Perch not sturdy and a bit small for my birds.
