How do you refill it? And can they destroy the plastic rings?

The rings open allowing you to add new bagels. Every bird plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your bird in case things get rough. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No bird toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.

My Conure loves this. She chews on it at night when it is dark and she is covered up for the night. I have to order her 2 packs of replacement rings every 2 to 3 months. She would pluck her feathers alot till I got this for her. Now she has calm down from doing that. I think this toy has helped.
