Love my birds

I've learned a lot about birds since obtaining my two parakeets. One is that they require different sized perches in order to exercise and strengthen their claws

I've learned a lot about birds since obtaining my two parakeets. One is that they require different sized perches in order to exercise and strengthen their claws. Amazing how these little critters can chew through wood! But these? They're constantly nibbling on them and they hold up. That tells me even they like these :)

It was several weeks before I observed my two older budgies actually using this perch. But now they both perch comfortably on it. The Y design lets them sit on one

It was several weeks before I observed my two older budgies actually using this perch. But now they both perch comfortably on it. The Y design lets them sit on one side and groom their beak on the other. I like to give the birds natural wooden perches of varying textures and sizes to keep their feet healthy, and I hope Chewy continues to stock this type of perch.
