Are any of the ingredients sourced from outside the US? If so, which ones and from where? I can't seem to get an answer from the manufacturer.

Every effort is made to purchase US ingredients, but on occasion it is necessary to import ingredients. These ingredients must meet all FDA, USDA & State Regulations. In addition it's required that they meet the ingredient specifications that they have set for that material, and they require strict inspection and testing prior to receiving any imported ingredient. While there are some components in their Vitamin & Mineral premix that originate from other countries (Vitamin B6 and Folic acid are only available from China). These vitamins and minerals are thoroughly tested to ensure their safety. The safety and quality of the pet foods produced is top priority and they continually monitor and test both ingredients and finished products to ensure a healthy and safe product is being provided.

The ingredients say "poultry fat". Which birds are in this food? I need to switch my dog off of chicken..

The Poultry Fat is either Chicken Fat or Turkey Fat, both sourced from the United States, but depending on availability.

Better yet, we are going on three years and she’s never had any kind of stomach/bowel upset. (Knock on wood). If we’re traveling and run out, it’s easy to find in grocery stores. Very happy.

Slashed bag

I received the shipment and while the box was in perfect shape I could hear the dog food loose in the box. When I opened it I found the reason for this was a 5 inch

I received the shipment and while the box was in perfect shape I could hear the dog food loose in the box. When I opened it I found the reason for this was a 5 inch knife slash in the middle of the front of the bag. It was a mess. I got it all back into the bag and weighed it - all the food was there, but whomever packaged that bag knew full well it was slashed open. But sent it anyway. I have grave reservations about using Chewy again.

"MEH", she barked.

Fussy Lainee will eat these, but she is rather indifferent to them. I like the look and size of the morsels, but Lainee doesn't care. She gives them 3 stars.

Needs to be labeled "small breeds"

Besides the fact that out of my 7 dogs, not one likes it, the kibble is TINY! Small enough that they could inhale it, causing potential serious hazard and health

The one dog that actually took a mouthful, had half of it falling back out while trying to chew it and struggled "chewing" the rest and walked away

She loves fresh kale and peas from my garden so I wanted a food that provided veggies as well as meat protein. Supreme Source super premium dog food met that goal while still fitting into my budget.
