Super healthy food made by family owned company

My dog has thrived for 15+ years on this dog food, even with very crooked front legs and turned out paws (genetic according to vet) and arthritis in paws diagnosed

My dog has thrived for 15+ years on this dog food, even with very crooked front legs and turned out paws (genetic according to vet) and arthritis in paws diagnosed at age 3. Although slow he is happy, eats well, and looks like he’ll make it another year.

My chihuahua, Coco has some dietary allergies, namely grains. She CANNOT have corn, rice and flaxseed. Do you know how hard it is to find a dry dogwood that doesn't contain flaxseed when missing corn and rice and also is a small kibble for little doggie mouths? I can tell you it's difficult. I have found it! Coco LOVES this in the salmon flavor. This is great for toy breeds in their mature years who may be missing a few teeth. My Coco is 14 and missing a few front teeth. The size of the kibble is just perfect for her.

The wrong brand food was sent home. Which is odd because I have never tried this brand before and I’ve been with this food for 7 years. My dogs waited 2 weeks for their food and there’s 5 of them that eat from the bag so it’s very upsetting when the food arrives and it’s the wrong one because the one I usually get is extremely hard to find at supermarkets. And to make it worse my husband destroys the box before I get a chance to say; let’s try to return it.

Pitbull with lots of food allergies, have tried even hypoallergenic dog foods with no success. This dog food has been well tolerated so far. Far fewer rashes and yeast infections, her coat is filling back in nicely and feels soft. Good value for the price.

Dogs liked it, caused allergies

I used this brand for more than a year. My dogs seemed to like it. (They're not super picky.) I have a beagle that got ear infections allllll the time. The vet said

I used this brand for more than a year. My dogs seemed to like it. (They're not super picky.) I have a beagle that got ear infections allllll the time. The vet said beagles are prone to ear infections because of the floppy ears. Well just treat the symptoms. In 2020, this brand became unavailable, so I switched to another brand with salmon and sweet potato. Oddly enough, the ear infections cleared up. Yay! When this brand became available again (after a year or so), I switched back because it was a few dollars less. My beagle's ear infections returned with a vengeance. I'm not sure which ingredient in the brand caused the ear problems, but they disappeared with the other brand. Paying extra for better food has saved me hundreds in vet bills.

For those of you who have dogs that are sensitive to chicken this food is deceptive as it says salmon but has chicken in it. My dog has an allergic reaction. So switched to a real salmon dog food instead since this one is mixed with chicken and salmon
