This recipe does include Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids which are beneficial to the skin and coat.

Are any of the ingredients sourced from outside the US? If so, which ones and from where? I can't seem to get an answer from the manufacturer.

Every effort is made to purchase US ingredients, but on occasion it is necessary to import ingredients. These ingredients must meet all FDA, USDA & State Regulations. In addition it's required that they meet the ingredient specifications that they have set for that material, and they require strict inspection and testing prior to receiving any imported ingredient. While there are some components in their Vitamin & Mineral premix that originate from other countries (Vitamin B6 and Folic acid are only available from China). These vitamins and minerals are thoroughly tested to ensure their safety. The safety and quality of the pet foods produced is top priority and they continually monitor and test both ingredients and finished products to ensure a healthy and safe product is being provided.

Good quality small bite size kobble

I love this kibble because it's free of corn:/ soy/ wheat and no meat byproducts. And - the kibble i size is quite small which is important for my elderly toothless

I love this kibble because it's free of corn:/ soy/ wheat and no meat byproducts. And - the kibble i size is quite small which is important for my elderly toothless girl - not many good diets out there with kibble this small and smooth , and the few other good ones are teice the price of this. My 25 lb girl likes it as much as my 4 pounders do. It comes in multiple flavor options but the turkey is my dogs' fave.

Helped my allergic girl

We’ve tried several different varieties of alternative dog food after reading that some dogs have have allergies to chicken and beef and it can cause their skin

We’ve tried several different varieties of alternative dog food after reading that some dogs have have allergies to chicken and beef and it can cause their skin issues. Juneau was stinky and itchy and had scabs here and there in her coat. We’ve tried 4Health Salmon and the premium Purina recipes but she couldn’t tolerate them and her issues flared back up. This is the only brand that she can eat for months with no problems. We feed her a combo of this and the Gentle Giants wet dog food (Turkey) and she is in amazing condition. Her coat shines and she doesn’t ever get stinky like she used too. That Cheeto smell is gone! However! Please Chewy, I beg you, lower the price to the range my grocery store sells it so I can include in my auto ship. I’d pay a couple extra dollars for the convenience but not a full on 10 dollars for the exact same amount if the exact same product. That’s not fair. I love the customer service and so much about this company but we balance out pet care with the care if our 4 school age children. Here is my local Food Lion app price as of today 4/18/25 and there is even a $3 coupon.
