How big around is the tail hole on this suit? We have a Saint Bernard female and the base of her tail is very thick.

It’s very stretchy and should be large enough. We have used these on multiple Saint Bernards and other giant breeds and have been extremely pleased with this product! They fit well , stay done up and are used for more than one dog which is super helpful in the rescue world ! Our rescue prefers this one as they can fit multiple sizes of dogs !

I bought this for my giant schnauzer male who was getting neutered. The cone was mot an option as he wont even let it get put on. I put the body suit on, and he immediately started licking. Inwent by the measurements, and the suit was too short, it pulled around uis shoulders. Im sure if i sized up it wouldve been way too loose around the part i was trying to prtoect. I think the material made the incisions and the shaved belly hair worse, it catches/makes itchy. Also, giant schnauzers have a double coat...he was so hot he wanted outside, but then I couldn't watch him. Lastly, I couldn't catch him fast enough when going outside and he pooped in it before I could remove velcro and part around his tail. Look my guy is a jumper, barker, chaser, reactive 3 year old. This was not for him. My suggestion is to make the part near the incision from a more soothing, protective material, not the material the rest of the suit is made from. I bought some really soft tea towels and will hold them on the incision, keep an eagle eye on him and physically stop him from licking.

Fits great & it's comfy on my dog

My Dog Maverick loves this suit. He had neuter surgery and we felt this would be easier for him to wear than a cone. I used the measurement options provided and

My Dog Maverick loves this suit. He had neuter surgery and we felt this would be easier for him to wear than a cone. I used the measurement options provided and it worked wel. Maverick is a German Shorthair nearly 60 lbs and lean but muscular. The pro's: He LOVES it! Steps forward to put it on. Super convenient. Love that it's washable. I even dried it on delicate and it's fine. It's made of nylon/poly so it doesn't shrink. Hides the suture areas so he can't lick them. Con's: When he slept in it, we noticed he was coughing one night. We "think" it was because the suit was catching on his throat. This was on the 5th night after his surgery so we just took it off of him and didn't notice any more coughing. Lastly, remember to roll the back end up for them to go potty. Fortunately, it's washable. Well worth the money and nice alternative to the cones. Our vet placed it on him post surgery which was a plus.

Sharing, I went to the product website direct. the manufacturer did not respond to my email and no phone call back when I asked an important question if the suit needs to be removed daily for air circulation . need to know how to dry it besides "dry flat" NO DRYER EVEN ON LOW. Not practical on rainy days. Blow dry on low? My aussie girl is 24" long ,got the LL. fits good. She is very easy to work and put legs in hole. *could be too small for some dogs to manipulate getting legs thru holes. suit went on in 10 seconds following instructions and video on MFR. website. **Now, day 4 she has been wearing 24/7 with 2 -3 daily potty breaks,I am noticing the velcro square and velcro tabs not sticking as well as well as the flap velcro to cover the straps on the back. Honestly, Not sure how this suits velcro is going to hold up for 2 weeks. Great concept...But....

Fits well, easy on and off

This was ordered so Koba wouldn’t have to wear the cone of shame after his neuter surgery. It’s very lightweight. It only took him a day or so to become accustomed

This was ordered so Koba wouldn’t have to wear the cone of shame after his neuter surgery. It’s very lightweight. It only took him a day or so to become accustomed wearing it. It definitely helps. Keep him from licking at the site. It’s easy to roll up on his back when he needs to go potty. A bonus is that it dries very quickly after washing.

I think we have about 3 surgical suits for our long Labrador that to short on him but huge on the belly. He manages to wiggle them off. This suit in Large Long

I think we have about 3 surgical suits for our long Labrador that to short on him but huge on the belly. He manages to wiggle them off. This suit in Large Long fits perfect. Material feels lightweight, breathable, and the velcro closure is absolutely perfect. He is not able to get out of that suit! Potty time super easy with a very convenient store away pocketz Ordering a second as he has 2 more surgeries to go for sure.

Surgi Snuggly is well worth it!

It covered the 10 inch long incision on my dog’s belly and I rarely needed to use the inflatable donut that I bought for post surgery. I recommend getting a size

It covered the 10 inch long incision on my dog’s belly and I rarely needed to use the inflatable donut that I bought for post surgery. I recommend getting a size larger than you need for two reasons. It will not rub up against the incision allowing air to circulate to help heal the stitches. Also, I did have to wash it and put it in the dryer on low heat and it did shrink. So I was glad I got the bigger size. My dog is 60 pounds GSD and I purchased a XXL -short. I could have gotten XL long and it would’ve been OK also. It is easy enough to use the Velcro to open and roll up the back end for the many times my dog had to go out. She didn’t even seem to notice that she had it on. Highly recommend for spaying or other sutures that it would cover. WAY better than the cone and or a t-shirt.

So much better than a cone!

Our Goldendoodle had some stitches on his body. We tried a cone but once I got this cone, we were all more comfortable plus the stitches were covered.

Just how Comfortable it looked!

Unfortunately, we were not able to use this on our Stormi Girl.... She ended up having an emergency 2nd Surgery. Her 1st surgery was a Spay and Gastoplexy. Unfortunately

Unfortunately, we were not able to use this on our Stormi Girl.... She ended up having an emergency 2nd Surgery. Her 1st surgery was a Spay and Gastoplexy. Unfortunately she had a condition (Unknown) and started to hemorrhage. The Surgeon thankfully saved her life! Stormi, ended up in ICU for 2 days along with Plasma transfusions. She had been stapled from chest down. So no cute Surgical Suit.... She is a Large German Shepherd long coat.
