Way too much dust

Bought this instead o stray in hopes it would be softer in the outside cat huts. The cats aren't that fond on it and I found it had way more dust than the stray

Great hemp bedding

I’m in Florida and I really wanted to use sand but to get it to my coop is a major job pulling it by my little wagon. So I’ve opted for deep bedding and use hemp

I’m in Florida and I really wanted to use sand but to get it to my coop is a major job pulling it by my little wagon. So I’ve opted for deep bedding and use hemp on top of the sand and bark chips base I began with. It does get wet because we’ve had sooo much rain and I’ve had to use more hemp that usual. This bedding was about the best price per bale.

I got this for my coop and brooder. It was so dusty I could barely breathe. It also had a faint hint of mint or like Vic’s. I was hesitant to use it but I did. Needless

I got this for my coop and brooder. It was so dusty I could barely breathe. It also had a faint hint of mint or like Vic’s. I was hesitant to use it but I did. Needless to say if I could barely breathe from the dust neither could my chickens. One seems to have an respiratory issue. I can’t say it’s the bedding but I’m not convinced it isn’t. Would not purchase this again.

It also has small particles, and isn't as uniform and soft as the brand I normally buy. Might be ok for larger animals, but I will not purchase this one again for my chickens.
