Tahoe Tack Plain Double Layer Nylon Horse Headstall & Reins, Pink, Full

I bought this bridle so I could cut down on cleaning duties associated with leather. Am very disappointed with what I received. Although the photo showed what appeared to be normal strap widths (1/2 - 5/8"), all the components are a full inch, and thicker than other brands. (The description did not mention strap widths) Even the throat latch is 1" wide....this impedes the horse being able to flex at the poll (most throat latches are rolled to minimize interference). Being wider, the cheek straps won't fit into the bit unless it's a ring sniffle. There is no flex to the straps.....it's more like a soft halter than a bridle. The poll strap appears shorter than normal. Because of the wider straps, the brow and must be right below the ears, and due to the width, the cheekstraps are too close to the eyes. I had planned on using this bridle for my bosal, but the strap width isn't supple and won't make the bend necessary to accommodate the nosal. Because of the shorter poll strap, I need to take the cheek pieces higher but can't because the buckles butt up to the already too high browband. IMO, totally unusable. This is the last time I'll buy something that hasn't already been critiqued by customers.
