  • My cats love this food!

    By on

All four of our cats are rescues. The three males will eat anything, but the female is incredibly finicky. It took us over a year, and at least twenty brands of dry food, to find something healthy she enjoyed. This was before we discovered Chewy, and the nice folks at our local small pet supply store knew us as "the couple who spoil their cats" because we were always coming in to buy the latest, greatest cat food. "Did Miss Tuxedo eat it?" they would ask. "No, but the boys loved it!" And I'd whip out my credit card and leave with yet another bag of yet another brand of healthy, dry cat food. For reasons known only to her, Little Miss Tuxie would only eat canned Tuna, Fancy Feast, and one brand of cheap dry food from the grocery store. And Cheetos, which we had to keep in the fridge so she wouldn't chew open the bag and devour them. She's such a little weirdo! LOL, but isn't that why we love our cats? Anyway, some good did come as result of her odd dietary proclivities--we donated everything she rejected to our local kitty shelter/food bank, to help cats in need. And, now that our feline family is happily enjoying a steady diet of Taste of the Wild, I have Chewy send us an extra 15 lb bag with our bimonthly autoship, which I then bring to the kitty shelter/food bank. Hopefully, sleek shiny coats will make people fall in love with cats waiting to be adopted, and everyone will live happily ever after. … more

  • Amazing difference.. my cats love it

    By on

So I have to admit I bought the cheaper budget food for my cat's for many years. I have had at least four or more cats on average for the last 10 years. However this last year we had a reduction in cats naturally and I tried something different. Which was The Taste of the Wild and to be quite honest I am extremely happy with the results. We have 4 cats three of the four go indoors and Outdoors and I can tell you their coat is amazing. They're happy healthy at a healthy weight and their Kitty box shows it as well. I can tell you there is a huge difference. I'm not going back.

  • Good cat food

    By on

I got this for my barn cats since the weathers been real cold and they haven’t left the barn. I wanted to feed them something better while they were cooped up. I noticed they eat more cause I think it must taste better then cheaper brands and their litter box has less in it and is less stinky. I also feed this brand to my dogs.

  • My 2 dumplings love this, but...

    By on

My 2 lovable furry friends love this dry food, better than another well-made dry food. The ingredients look great, except for one glaring exception. This food contains canola oil. As I understand it canola oil is made from rapeseed, which is a natural plant, but it is supposed to stink as bad as a skunk. So some toxic chemical is used in the processing to get the stench out. I would like to see this food made with coconut oil, which is very healthy. I do put out a dish of coconut oil and see them occasionally eating this great oil.

  • Cat won't eat it.

    By on

I'm sure this is a top notch product but my cat refuses to eat it. I'm not sure if it's the unfamiliar flavors as I usually feed her something with chicken in it. Back to the drawing board. I'm going to go broke trying to find something she will eat that won't upset her tummy.

  • Excellent balance for old and young

    By on

I have seen a marked improvement in balancing the nutritional needs of 3 very different cats. We have a 10 yr old chubster who is gradually turning his fluff around, a ridiculously active 1 1/2 yr old that is holding onto muscle weight (on other foods was having trouble gaining) and a less than 1 yr old that was gaining to rapidly, balancing out nicely. So quite an achievement for one kind of food.

  • Great for sensitive tummies!

    By on

For some reason my kitty can't have any wet foods without getting an upset stomach and I also suspect he has a chicken allergy. It was nearly impossible to find a dry food with no chicken but I am SO glad I found this one! He loves the taste and his stools are super healthy on this food. Yay!! Also, the price is reasonable for the quality of food.

  • Picky Cat??

    By on

For some reason our cat will not eat this food. We have switched foods before and generally she will eat all of them while showing some are clearly her favorites by gobbling them up. For whatever reason she will not eat this food at all and leaves it in the bowl waiting for us to give her something else
