Don't buy these! These treats are overpriced and my kitties hate them with a capital H. Inky took one lick and ran away. Snappy sniffed the "treat" and begam to bury it like a particularly ripe cat poo all tth while looking at me like I violated the main clause in the human kitty contract. I expect to hear from their attorneys any day now.Snappy used to love the dry temptations cheese trreats made by this coompany. Those were his favorite flavor I wish they would start making those again. I forgot to mention they are overpriced .oops no I didn't, but it bears repeating. Get delectables those are cheaper and the cats love them. These remind me of the fancy feast creamy can cat food that they sell, or sold I am not sure if they still sell it or not I avoid it. The cats hated those too, but at least those were much less expensive.
Mixed Feelings
My older cat does not like the smell of these so I couldn't even get her to taste the Temptations Creamy Puree with Cheese Lickable Cat Treat. To me I don't think she likes the cheese smell. We've never given our cats anything with cheese. Our younger cat who is 2 was more brave at trying the cheese flavored lickable treat. She didn't finish the one tube we opened for both cats to try, but she did attempt at tasting it. All in all these are not my cats favorite flavor. We have mixed feelings on whether or not our younger cat will eat more if she's given the same treat multiple times.
May work for yours
I received a free sample of this product for my honest review. I have a very picky senior indoor cat and she turns her nose up at anything that isn't the original Temptations crunchy treats. We feed a neighborhood cat and went crazy for these... So it really will depend on your cat and the textures/flavor they prefer. From an owner standpoint, the packaging is convenient and the product squeezed out easily. I put this in a small cup for my indoor cat to try but the outdoor cat ate it right out of the package as I was squeezing it!
Interesting treat
Neither of my cats have ever tried a cheese flavored treat, so this was interesting. One of my cats absolutely loved it the other was not a fan at all. They do love the other flavors though. I enjoy how convenient the tubes are. They are mess free and make it very easy to give your cat a puree treat. I received the Temptations creamy puree with cheese free to sample.
Great product but not her favorite flavor...
My pet usually loves these kinds of treats and has enjoyed them in the past, however, she did not like this particular flavor. I attempted to feed her directly from the packet and also add to food, but she just didn't like it. She has enjoyed this same treat in the other flavors. Overall, this is a great treat, you just have to get the flavors that your cat enjoys.
My cat loved this cheese flavor puree!
My cat loves puree treat sticks! She follows me into the kitchen to see if she can get one. I received a free sample to try out of these temptation cheese flavored puree sticks. It was easy to open and the consistency was nice and thick and easy to squeeze out while my cat ate it. She loved the cheese flavor and found it irresistible. She got every little morsel out of the pouch and was very happy with it. I will definitely add this flavor to our list of treats now.
Mixed Review from my kitties
I received this as a free sample in exchange for my honest review. My cats were mixed on this puree with cheese, and I personally was hesitant, since most cats are lactose intolerant. I let them each try one, and only two ate it: both of my former ferals ate it, but my house cat wanted nothing to do with it. Honestly I think it gave my one former feral some loose bowels, most likely because of the ingredients. If you have a cat who can already handle dairy then go for it.
Temptations Puree cheese treats
I received this as a free product to test and I found it easy to squeeze the filling stuff out of the tube. Two of my cats loved it while the third snubbed her nose at it. Had to keep them in a drawer and as soon as the cats heard the drawer opening (both were no where to be seen) were miraculously right there ready for their treat. I recommend.
Weird smell
First I have to say my Pumpkin absolutely loves Purrrees especially the tuna and salmon flavors. He does love cheese in many forms so when this came about I was excited to get these for him. What happened when I opened the first stick was he smelled it and shook his head! Then after a little coaxing he tried the cheese flavor stick and he did not even finish the first spoon full before he ran over to his water glass and began drinking to what I figured was to get the taste out of his mouth. I attempted to get him to try it again, however he did not want to come anywhere near it. I purchased two 16 count boxes so I will be giving them to my neighbor for his cat Gizmo. Hopefully Gizmo will like them. The texture was great but the tatse and smell are off putting at least for my boy. I do urge others to try them to see if your cats will like them, however I would first just buy a four pack to see if they like them or not.
Good, but..
My cat LOVED the cheese flavor in this lickable treat! The consistency and smell was very palatable for him. The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is it did upset his tummy. We have tried other flavors of the Temptations Purree treats, but those did not upset his tummy. I received a 4-pack of this product as a free sample.
