Siphon Pump

I was hoping once you got the water flowing, it would work on its own, but I have to keep squeezing it and I don't have much strength in my fingers any more.

The tubing doesn't connect snugly enough around the bulb, so it lets air in. Air being sucked in means you're never sucking all the air out of the tube to start the water flow, making the entire reason for the bulb pointless. Wasted 10mins + trying to establish water flow by pumping the bulb. Spend the extra $$ on the Python or Aqueon brand.

I agree with the previous reviews and wish I saw them prior to my order. What I received is not the same as what I ordered. Didn’t come with any instructions or suction cup. The piece attached to the filter is much longer, couldn’t get water to siphon up past the waterline of my tank. Waste of time and money, I want refund.

No instructions on how to put this together or properly use. Did not come with a suction cup either. I rigged up my own. I also had to use a rubber band to keep two of the pieces attached and not fall apart. I was able to take out the plastic "screen" since I'm cleaning out a turtle tank and needed larger pieces to be sucked up (no gravel like in a fish aquarium.) To use, you need to place the dump bucket on the floor, run the tube all the way down into it, and squeeze the bulb a ton of times in rapid succession to get enough suction going and get the water flowing. This seemed to take forever but was easier the 2nd time I used it. There is a stopper valve that doesn't really work. It leaks and then you use suction. So just have everything all ready to go (buckets, etc.)

An excellent tool when cleaning my fish tank. I don't know how I never though of this before. The blue part is a pump that u squeeze like a pump and the water just starts flowing out, it took me half the time it usually does when emptying and cleaning my tank.
