Is this product safe for dogs? My dogs drink from the pond
Answer by • Sep 11, 2019
This product has not been tested on dogs but it's recommended that it's diluted into the pond first. Please allow the product to mix within the pond for a few hours prior to allowing the dog near the pond area again
Is this item okay for ducks? How long does it last?
Answer by • Oct 15, 2022
Tetra has not researched this product's use with ducks and does not recommend it. It is intended for water gardens and fish ponds only. This block dissolves very slowly, over a period of approximately four weeks (30 days).
I have a 35-40 gal ornamental fountain. These say use in 100-250gal. But I see some reviews that say they are used in smaller fountains. Can I break them in half and use them? Or would full strength be ok?
Answer by • Nov 05, 2019
Although the blocks can be cut, the "Tetra Algae Control Pond Fountain Block Water Treatment" is the same formula, but in smaller blocks, which may be more convenient for smaller fountains.
Can this be used in a turtle pond?
