I enjoyed this product for awhile despite the app being extremely difficult/impossible to use. However a few months back they completely removed the app from the App Store. And the app somehow uninstalled itself from my phone. Now my fish tank is Dark and the feeder is useless and there’s nothing I can do about it. This is extremely frustrating and at this point any new buyers won’t be able to use this product at all. Do not buy this tank! the features that made it so cool are entirety useless now and tetra isn’t helpful at all.

I love the tank & filter! However the Wifi enabled lights will not work and tech support will not return phone calls. It wouldn’t even be that big of a deal if there was an on/off switch but there isn’t. App controlled only but will not connect to the app. Same goes for the wifi enabled feeder. The only way I can get the feeder to work is to unplug from the wall and plug it back in. It will work if I can push the feed button while the light is blinking green, but as soon as it goes red it doesn’t work. Really wish they would replace these two items since they are so heavily advertised with the product but will not work. I can’t even find a YouTube or tiktok video about someone solving this issue.
Shattered in middle of the night

The bottom of the tank cracked in an opposite arc from the bow front. Yes, the tank was level. We woke up to 28 gallons of fish water drained into our downstair neighbors condo and 14 dead fish. Terrible doesn’t even begin to describe how awful the situation was. Chewy was kind enough to refund our money but Tetra had zero interest in hearing about the problem. $1000 later to repair drywall and repair water damage, we are still to afraid to get a new tank.

The lighting system is a complete nightmare. Both my wife and I are very much tech savey. But this kit is really bad and unnecessarily complected. What ever happened to the good old fashioned SWITCH?

Not a good choice. The instructions do not follow thru, the WiFi bar lights are very hard to start working. Also because the front of the tank is curved you cannot

Also because the front of the tank is curved you cannot clip the bar lights on to the front of the tank because the bar lights are straight. Getting someone to help on you on the phone is a long wait. Also the the tank can only hold 20 gal. Of water.

28 gallons is a lot of space, so technically you can put a lot of fish in there, the design looks good too.

The filter is extremely nice and had no problems with that. The glass top I found out was broken on delivery so I need to get that replaced, and I can’t figure out how to turn on the lights, I plugged it in but doesn’t work. I downloaded the app but no clear instructions. I give it a two star and will up the review if these issues can be resolved!
