Is it safe for turtles and how high does the water have to be in the tank? Thank you

This heater has to be fully submerged at all times and needs to be installed so the turtle cannot climb on it. Ideally, it should be vertical but can be horizontal. It cannot be buried, water must flow freely around it.

Is the heater plastic or glass? I’m looking for it to be compatible with a turtle tank and don’t wish for him to crack the glass and get electrocuted. If it is glass what is it’s size so I can buy a rubber guard. Thank you for your time and I hope you get to me quickly.

This heater is made from glass and is approximately 1.625 inches in diameter.

I have a 36 gallon tank will this work

This heater is suitable for 40-55 gallon tanks.

Works great for Turtle Tank

It’s an OK heater

I had it for about 9 months. It doesn’t really make my tank feel warm and seems to set it at room temperature. I had just replace with it was better heater.

Garbage dont buy

Broke after 2 months and almost killed all my fish. Chewy sent me a 2nd one for free (thanks chewy) and that one also broke. I don't recommend
