The description says they are appropriate for tropical freshwater fish, but your fish would have to be gigantic to be able to deal with these. They are huge! Maybe

Maybe I should have known that but I thought the description would say if it wasn't appropriate for regular aquarium fish. My fish did nibble at them a little, but then the shrimp carcass is left floating around the aquarium, which is not appealing, and then gets stuck next to the filter draw. It is just not worth it. I do generally like this brand for other things though.

The River Shrimp is a little bigger than I realized they would be, so when I give my gold fish some, I need to break them up in small pieces. They would be great
