Works well and is fairly easy to clean but it clogs quickly if there is a lot of particulates in the water. I am getting a second one so I can rotate in a clean

Cylinder Pre-Filter works for koi pond, and it sinks on its own

The cylindrical pre-filter works for our koi pond. Tip- we purchased a second filter insert so there’s a quick change out, and then we rinse the algae-filled one
