I have a regular harness on our corgi/chow/retriever. the thunder leash would hook right onto the current harness??, or is it better to have the collar. I prefer harnesses as I feel I have better control. with a collar all my dogs have managed to get it off with with one shake of the head.

I have a dog who is not always the most obedient on walks. But he's terrific when I use the Thunderleash as a harness. It works like a choke collar, but those can be dangerous. What's great about this is that it causes no pain, it's safe and it pulls the chest, not the throat. He even likes when I put it on him because he's getting extra attention and petting.

Finally some control!

This leash is the first thing I have ever had that has helped me with controlling my hyperactive dog who doesn't just pull, he has pulled me down on the ground

Not what I remember the thunderleash as

I’ve had the retractable version and one for larger breeds but this one is a little thin and I don’t feel that it’s secure where the leash slips into the metal piece,

Doesn't work on any of my dog walking customers.

I'm a dog walker and pet sitter. I have tried the Thunder Leash on almost every dog customer I have, and none of them have learned to stop pulling with this leash

I'm a dog walker and pet sitter. I have tried the Thunder Leash on almost every dog customer I have, and none of them have learned to stop pulling with this leash. To be fair, some of the dogs are not smart, and I mean really painfully not smart. But even the smart dogs have learned they can ignore this leash just fine thank you. Almost every dog I walk pulls, and I was really hoping to find a faster and easier way to train dogs to stop pulling, but this product has failed with every single dog I tried. It's a zero star product for me.

I wanted something better than a harness

it WORKS! Mr. Bean is 17 months old and responds better to this than he does to a 3 point harness. It worked better once I figured out how to adjust the slack and

It worked better once I figured out how to adjust the slack and the safety buckles and it could be because he's maturing and maybe I'm doing a better job at training, but it's a relief to have him walking more nicely.
