It works wonders!
My little guy came to us from a rescue sight. He is such a loving little guy. He began to have episodes where he became startled and afraid for no reason. The vet couldn't find anything physically wrong. I thought I would try the thunder shirt and used it the first time during the 4th of July. It worked like magic. Last night he had one of his episodes so I put it on and it worked! I am so happy I tried this more for my little guy that he doesn't have to go through those frightful episodes. Help with anxiety attacke
One of my rescue dogs suffers from anxiety attacks, probaby caused by past abuse. Nothing calmed him down until this. It is amazing. I am getting one for the other dog in anticipation of hurricane season, lightning, storms and fireworks.
My mind is blown.
It’s July 3rd and the fireworks are have started. My dog will usually bark all night at the fireworks and run around the house with anxiety. I remembered I bought this last year in preparation for the next firework show. Well as soon as I put the vest on my dog, he chilled out and froze, lol. It’s pretty amazing how it works. He still barked some but he is pretty much chillaxin under the covers in his vest right now and we will both get some sleep. Im a very happy dog mom.
4th of July mistake
Thunder shirt was too small even though I purchased by the size chart given for my dogs weight. Very disappointed. Also the hemp calming treats were refused by my dogs, could not get them to take them! I purchased them in preparation for July 4th fireworks which scare my pups. No luck!
Great Product!
Bought a thundershirt for my lab who’s terrified of fireworks and thunderstorms. He’s used it several times and has been completely calm during the noise.
Didn't work
I have a very fear-based anxiety ridden 2-year-old yorkie who goes totally wild when he sees another person during our walks. I will have to put on a prescription medication and use the vest as well. I can't say that the vest wouldn't work on a less anxious dog.
Does wonders!
Before I used Thunder Shirt and the Thunder Treats my dog would go bonkers over sliding snow falling from our roof, hi anxiety whenever there were storms in the area, and people working around the outside of the house. Now she is calmer.

Have had another thunder vest for our last adopted dog... a large which was fine for her, but our new member of the family is larger...so an x/l was needed. These vests are wonderful and offer so much security for the pet.,.fire works these days have changed, no longer fireworks...more like bombs...and scares her intensely and us as well. It's too bad more people do not take into consideration the effect it has on animals as well as their neighbors.
