The dimensions given are 19.5x19.5. Are these sizes for the base only or the max dimensions at the widest points, counting the perches?
The description says it’s “fabric” covered but it looks like gray carpet to me. Is it carpet? My cats destroy carpet so I don’t want that kind.
What are the posts made of? Wood, cardboard tubes, etc? I know they're covered but I have a mega scratcher and cardboard covered with sisal isn't lasting long.
What size is top perches?

I wish the scratching posts were on floor level and the 12x12 box was larger. The maze at the top is crazy. I never attached it . She plays with it on the floor

My cat loved this tree. I put it in front of the double doors and it was tall enough for him to see out of the glass. easy enough to assemble.

Lasted me 4 years: great for SMALL cats

I bought this tower about 4 years ago, when my first cat was a kitten. I am now getting to the point where I am looking into replacing it. Here is how it has held up over the last 4 years. For context, I have two cats, the second getting adopted two years after purchasing this tower. They are both 17 lbs (just started a diet). In the first few weeks, the toys in the puzzle box came out, and the dangling ball's string snapped. I just put different toys in the puzzle box and tied the string onto the puzzle box, which held for over a year before it snapped again. The ball at the top is just fine. They never liked the rope, so it is still like new. As for the tower itself, it has survived two moves and 4 years of chonky cats running all over it. It does lean forward now, permanently, but that may be because of not being packed properly when I moved. The tower itself is pretty great, and both my cats love it, but it is sized appropriately for kittens and not adult cats; even if they weren't overweight, they would still be too large for the tower.

This tower is pretty tall and has a lot of activity items on it. It’s probably good for active cats, but not for cats that like to sleep high up. The platforms and hideouts are very small so not possible for adult cats to be comfortable in/on. May be good to tire them out, especially young ones. I got it to replace one that had larger platforms. Will have to be more careful next time.

Well, it certainly does the job. Both the kitten and old gal are both fond of it. The jingle balls that come for the box piece are kind of a joke. My kitten got them thru the holes in a matter of seconds, rendering the box toy spot pretty useless. The old gal loves to sleep in the tiny little cube hut that she’s much too big for. They both seem satisfied for what it is! I just wish it had balls that couldn’t come out of the box piece. The “ladder” doesn’t make any sense as it leads to a 2.5 ft drop off the side of the tower…luckily the cats are smart enough to just parkour off the side lol
Fabulous Purchase!!!
We had a kitten "adopt" us back in mid November. She's LOADED with energy and spunk and needed something to keep her occupied while we were at work each day. EASY
We had a kitten "adopt" us back in mid November. She's LOADED with energy and spunk and needed something to keep her occupied while we were at work each day. EASY to put together. GREAT instructions. STURDY!!! This is PERFECT for her!! She loves all of the levels and the added scratching posts. It's sturdy too!!! She hits this thing FLYING and it has never wavered. Will be getting another for a different room for the house. I'm so grateful that I ordered this from you for our little stowaway.

Bought this to replace an old one. I have 2 12 lb cats that love their old tree condo. Got this new one and was disappointed. Pictures make it look like it's for full grown cats. Well it's not. I know this shows measurements but I guess you don't realize how big a full grown cat truly is. Platform's are only big enough for them to sit and not really play. Base is not wide enough to keep this condo somewhat stable. It's really wobbly. This is perfect for kittens but not full grown cats.
only good for young cats
This cat tower will be good for very young cats. I have 3 adult cats who are 14lbs each. Our cats can't perch on the platforms due to the platforms are very small
This cat tower will be good for very young cats. I have 3 adult cats who are 14lbs each. Our cats can't perch on the platforms due to the platforms are very small. Finally it's a very unstable kitty playground.
