My dog is old (15) and picky and susceptible to pancreatitis and he likes this topper very much. Because of the pancreatitis risk, we keep our old boy on a very low-fat diet - because of the pickiness aspect, it has been very hard to find low-fat yet tasty options for him, so this has been a great find. And sorry if this is TMI, but we need to keep a little food in his stomach at intervals throughout the day or else he gets nauseous and will throw up. By keeping a little food in there, we have totally eliminated this issue. Admittedly there isn’t a whole lot of beef visible in the package, but he doesn’t seem to mind. I did read a review that said it’s a small portion, but this is not meant to be a whole meal, it’s really meant to be a topper or a snack and it says the weight right on the package. The whole line is meant for smaller dogs, so if you’re looking for big meals, this isn’t your line. If you’re looking for tasty snacks to keep your old guy happy, this works great :)
