What is Tiny Tiger? Where is it manufactured?
Tiny Tiger is a cat food and treats brand that is currently sold on Chewy.com. Tiny Tiger follows strict quality standards and FDA regulations and is manufactured in Kansas and Canada with ingredients from around the world.
Do the cans contain BPA?
No, the cans are BPA non-intent.
How do I open the can?
The cans have pull tabs for easy opening (similar to a can of soup).
What do I do with leftover food in the can?
Cover the top of the can and place in the refrigerator. For maximum taste and freshness, serve the leftover food within 3 days of opening.
What if my cat doesn’t like the food when it’s cold?
Place food in a microwave safe dish and cover. Microwave for 15-20 seconds. Stir the food to ensure it’s heated evenly. Before serving, smooth food with a utensil to increase your pet’s ability to lap up their food.
How do I best serve my cat their food?
Empty desired amount into your pet’s serving dish and smooth out the food using a utensil.
How do I identify what protein my cat will enjoy?
It’s important to pay attention to your cat’s behavior as you try new proteins. Some cats are picky and only like one specific protein such as fish or poultry. Once you understand what your cat likes, it’s best to stick to food purchases within that protein family, in order to increase enjoyment of the food by your cat.
How do I identify what wet cat food format my cat will like?
- Since cats prefer to lap their food, they will likely prefer a soft paté or minced chunks in gravy. The loaf format is easy for the cat to lick, and the food will stick to the grooves on their tongue.
- Paté format is a great choice for senior cats or kittens that may have a harder time chewing small meat chunks in a chunks in gravy format.
- If your cat prefers a chunks in gravy format and has no issue with chewing the small meat chunks, then this is a great option for your cat.
Where are the ingredients sourced?
Tiny Tiger ingredients are sourced from reputable suppliers in the US and worldwide, dependent upon availability.
Is this ok for kittens?
Tiny Tiger is suitable for cats of all life stages.

Glad we tried it
By Adam on Mar 29, 2021
We switched to this brand wanting something healthier than fancy feast that our cat would still like eating and she loves it and we are happy with the quality. We like the portion size of the small cans. This brand is like a cross between healthy blue Buffalo and tasty fancy feast and at a very competitive price. We bought a case of the poultry and a case of seafood and our cat loves every flavor. We will be buying this from now on.

Decent Price, Decent Quality
By Parker on Apr 18, 2021
I was happy to find that the neither the Beef not turkey pate’ contained any of the bone-like shavings found recently in the chicken Pate’. As of late, the quality of the chicken Pate which I had been (exclusively) buying has been less than great, so I was curious to check out other flavors. I will probably switch to all mixed rather than just chicken 24 packs.

Pleasantly surprised
By ELLQQ on Apr 8, 2021
One of our cats has been getting very picky with her wet food so I bought this on a whim. She LOVES it! Usually she will only eat one or two servings from a can before she gets bored and turns up her nose. This stuff we can split into six servings and she is as happy with the last bite as the first. Glad I tried this. It's pâté but it's got some chunks and texture and seems well made. We will buy again.

My 5 won't eat it!
By StacyN on Apr 9, 2021
I put a couple cans down for my 5 and none of them would eat it. One of them wouldn't even get close to it. The one that eats everything tried to bury it. I ended up giving the rest of the cans to a shelter my friend volunteers at and she said they got a couple of cats to eat it. Just wasn't for my 5 cats.

Kittys Fav Food
By KittyCass on Apr 2, 2021
My cats love this food. I was skeptical at first with it being such a cheap price compared to other grain free wet food products. My cats actually prefer this over other more expensive brands. It is a pate but is a little more solid than normal pâtés but my cats actually prefer this! Happy kitties happy mommy!

Tiny Tiger pate awsome!
By Margaret on Mar 7, 2021
One of my cats was diagnosed with HIV when she showed up so I need to feed her separately. I can't tell you how many foods I tried so I could get medicine down her--she loves Tiny Tiger pate. She runs back & forth so excited when she sees me coming with it. I'm so pleased to have finally found something that she will eat. Thank you so much Chewy! She loves this food. No other pate food(she's a pate girl) has ever gotten her enthusiastic about eating.

Kitties are liking the new food
By TupperKatz on Mar 25, 2021
Our cats were getting a bit tired of the same ole same ole (finicky tho they are) and so I decided to throw some different types and flavors in the mix with a big hurrah and happy felines! They love the flavors of the Tiny Tigers (the yellow box and blue box) thus we’ve scored a winner. I will definitely buy again! Thanks Chewy!

My Cats Like Them!
By RonF on Apr 7, 2021
The price is right and its available, and, most importantly, my cats like Tiny Tiger. With Fancy Feast and other brands still in short supply, apparently due to the pandemic, Tiny Tiger is an acceptable substitute. The pate is more popular around here than the morsels

Not for finicky cats but others like it.
By LadyAleta on Mar 12, 2021
My elderly cats have never been finicky eaters but they weren't that pleased with this. They ate some of it but chose to eat their dry kibble instead. However, one of my cats did finish everyone else's leftovers. lol Also, this is a better alternative conveniently, financially, and nutritionally for feeding the ferals outside my home than what I had been serving. So overall, I'm glad I bought it.

Ok but not great
By Catmum on Mar 26, 2021
Have bought Tiny Tiger, different varieties and types, for awhile now. Since we have 35 cats, we are challenged to find one food they will all eat that we can afford. NOTE: we feed Purina One grain free kibble and they are free to graze. But a few, because of different reasons, are given anywhere from a quarter can like a treat to serving the full can additionally. My biggest complaint, besides it having by-products in them, is the pate mashes down into the bowl as they lick and some stop eating and walk away unless I pile it up again. Guess some of you will say they are spoiled, and they are, but most are seniors and rescues (castaways by previous irresponsible humans) & (10+ years) and I Have bought Tiny Tiger, different varieties and types, for awhile now. I’m old and they are old so we are happy together. Fixing to try the gravy in chunks again. Before they would just lick up the gravy and leave the solid food. Yep, they are finicky and spoiled. And I’m ten stars happy with that!!!!! And so we will give it another go and see what happens until I can decide what else to try. They are indeed a challenge!! … more
