    As a laxative it's so-so

By catmom on May 30, 2021

My elderly cat, like so many of us humans, suffers from constipation. I give this to him once daily & sometimes it helps & sometimes it doesn't. My Vet says to use a tsp. of mixed Mira-Lax (for humans) so maybe I'll try that if things get worse.

Not what I was hoping for

By Yuck on Jan 17, 2021

A natural hairball remedy was no longer available through Tomlyn. and for my cat, hairball control is a life and death matter, age (18-20) and past history (very expensive vet bills to remove hairballs that he couldn't pass). So he has to have some hairball medication every day. The Tomlyn natural was perfect. The petroleum products he won't touch and I'm not fond of the idea of using a petroleum product for him either. I looked through all Tomlyn products and thought this one would be different, but it was worse in that it was so thick, it couldn't be squeezed out of the container. I had to cut it in half and then scoop it out. Yuck! And my cat still wouldn't touch it. I went online to find a different brand that still has a natural hairball product. I found one and ordered it. I tried sticking with Chewy and sticking with Tomlyn, but it just didn't work for me and my cat. … more

    Hairball eliminator

    By ev3ponies on Apr 19, 2021

This product works to eliminate the distress (& mess) of hairball up-chucks, and does not cause an allergic reaction for my highly allergic cat.

One cat likes it, the other doesn't

    By PetOwner on Nov 27, 2020 top100Contributor

The cat I bought it for loves the stuff. Unfortunately, it does cause mushy/smelly poop. Give sparingly.

    Picky cat loves it

By Meemo on Aug 5, 2020

My cat is super picky and very nervous. I can actually squeeze this out onto a plate with a couple little treats and she lick it right up. No more having to smear it on her paws to get her to take hairball goo. I'll definitely reorder this.

My cats love it, me not so much

    By MaryJ on May 10, 2020 top1000Contributor

I always try to feed my cats as natural as possible, so always got them their hairball paste that had all natural ingredients. They got so they wouldn't touch it. What finally made me decide to try this is the fact that all of my cats think anything plastic is the best treat in the world (no, I don't let them eat it, but they can be sneaky, lol). I figured the ingredients in this remind me of what the plastic must taste like, lol, and they all love it! Cats! Go figure.

Jazzmine loves this stuff so much, she will lick it straight from the tube. It really helps cut back on her vomiting up hairballs.
