what is the max. weight of a dog that can use this during bath time without popping it off the wall? I have two 90lb dogs.

At this time, Top Performance do not have a weight capacity for this suction cup. It really depends on how still the dog is in the tub if they are larger, rather than their actual weight.

This is quite large and comes with a metal loop which screws into the suction cup. It does have good suction. I bought this for my small dogs so they didn't try to jump out of the stainless steel kitchen sink which is quite high. It doesn't include the harness and it doesn't look like they sell them on chewy, so you probably have to get one from a specialty shop for dog groomers. Without that this product is useless. Otherwise if you do have a harness it could definately withstand a lot of pulling.

just a suction cup

I literally received just a suction cup; no loop, hook, hole, etc. There’s no way to attach my dog to it if it would stick in my tub wall. I couldn’t get it to stay

I literally received just a suction cup; no loop, hook, hole, etc. There’s no way to attach my dog to it if it would stick in my tub wall. I couldn’t get it to stay on the wall though. The pictures and descriptions are misleading in my opinion.

Difficult to connect the hook to the cup

Imagine my surprise when this suction cup came in two pieces! The eye hook has ribs as though it's supposed to screw into the suction cup but I couldn't get it to

Imagine my surprise when this suction cup came in two pieces! The eye hook has ribs as though it's supposed to screw into the suction cup but I couldn't get it to screw in. After investigating with a flashlight I saw that the ribs in the cup were covered in rubber. I spent some time with some tweezers picking and pulling rubber out of the ribs until it was finally able to connect to the eyehook. It was a huge pain.

Didn't live up to the hype...

I ordered these based on a LOT of other reviewers that said how great they were. Unfortunately, I have not experienced the same scenarios. When I got them I tried

When I got them I tried them on my subway tiled dog bath, and it was too big for the tile and the grout caused a gap, so I stuck it to the solid, smooth plastic shelf above and an hour later I went back and they had both fallen. Today, as I groomed 5 of my dogs, the slightest tug would pop them off...I will most likely have to install eye hooks. I have Corgis, not big dogs. I can see how they'd be beneficial, but they just aren't working for me. Darn. I will most likely keep them for another application because they weren't expensive. Possibly donate them to a local rescue.
