Beware expands when wet
I bought this hoping to have another option to my normal pellets and was HIGHLY disappointed. Immediately on opening I smelled strong alfalfa but decided to give it a try still thinking maybe that scent would be attractive to our green cheek conure and Indian ringneck.... they wouldn't touch it! I didn't want to waste it so I put some out for the squirrels and in our bird feeders. I just went to refill them and the moisture had caused the pellets to swell so much they covered the bird feeder holes and nothing else could come out. The swollen pellets had dried firm enough that I had to use pieces of stick to force them back in and dump out the top. I am thankful my birds wouldn't eat them as I can't imagine that being good puffed up and sitting in their systems.
Good food to try for small birds
Smells fresh, package is a little smaller than I thought it would be. Not sure if my birds eat all of it or just pick some pieces out but I continue to offer it to them because of the nutritional value and hope that they eat at least some of it. I have a conure and two lovebirds and offer it to all of them. The pieces are very small so probably not a good fit for any medium to larger sized birds. I like that the ingredients are all natural and no fillers. Definitely something worth trying to see if your birds will take a liking to it.

My brothers parakeet likes it but my green cheek conure loves it. She was extremely underweight and after changing her diet to this she’s been eating a lot more. I don’t have many photos of her but this is what I have from recently. I recommend this bird seed so much, this is my go to now when ppl ask what to get their birds. It’s amazing as long as you feed your bird fruits and veggies and a nice clean bowl of water.
Yummy healthy food

Good but not as pictured
This is mostly alpha pellets. Very life’s nuts that are just small chips and grain is minimal at best. I will not purchase this again.
Great Product
Our Stormi (Green Cheek Conure) is loving this food! As you can see Oakley is wanting to know what’s so delicious in the bowl as well. Trying to ween off seed is no easy task but we were successful. We offer different healthy options so that he doesn’t get bored. This food offers a blend of different things and he truly enjoys it! This makes me happy knowing he has a healthy diet. We love watching Marlene on her YouTube channel, so Thank you for offering this food! We love you Chewy, keep up the great work!
false advertisement
So I watch Marlene on YouTube and love her and her love for parrots and all she does for the parrot community, however I was sooooo excited to finally buy and try this food on my 6 birds (4 budgies, 1 lovebird, and 1 plum headed parakeet) and NONE of them would even go near it!!! The pellets smelled horrible like rotten alfalfa or something and there were hardly any other products (the pumpkin seeds and hazelnut etc...) in all the pictures I’ve seen there is an overwhelming amount of the seed and nut products and hardly any pellets!!! so I was hoping this would be a good healthy organic way to switch my birds over to a more natural pellet diet.... I feel like I wasted $20 on 2lbs of crap! SUPER DISAPPOINTED

amazing. your bird may take a while to get use to a different type of food if they are use to seeds. seeds are like junk food to humans. they aren’t very good for them all the time so to give your bird variety will make them so much happier and healthier.
