Watch ferrets eat this food
I have two ferrets, one petite female and 3.5 pound male. My male has no issue with this food, but my female constantly gets the kibble caught in the roof of her
I have two ferrets, one petite female and 3.5 pound male. My male has no issue with this food, but my female constantly gets the kibble caught in the roof of her mouth due to the size and shape of the kibble. I have had to pry the food out of her mouth multiple times, so I will not be buying this again. If you have a smaller ferret, watch carefully to make sure you do not have the same issue.

My ferrets have been eating this food for the past 3 years because we have two ferrets that are sensitive to chicken. They like the food and show good weight and health while on this food. I will continue to purchase food.

Ok, so I have to mention the poops. Since I started feeding this food to my ferrets, the poops have not been most or runny. Not very smelly either. I had one piece of kibble get stuck on the top of the ferrets mouth because of the shape but other than that. We love the product. The ferrets fur looks great since starting them on this food. It has helped a lot and I will continue to purchase this food.

I also feel good about feeding this food because the total crude protein is made up from over 91% animal-based ingredients (which is amazing), and I also like that there is at least 20% fat (ferrets have a much greater need for fat in their diets than cats or dogs; ferrets utilize dietary fat (not carbs) for energy.
Terrible smell
Just opened a new bag and the smell of the food was terrible. Both of my ferrets refuse to eat it. I even tried to mix their treats in it and they refused to eat
