They weren't as enthusiastic about this collagen product as some others I've tried (including human-consumption collagen). They ate it mixed into their food, so we used it all up, but as an enticement for them to finish their dinners, it wasn't a success.
Got this for my now 18 year old kitty with probable arthritis. He has always been tiny his whole life, and losing some weight as a super senior hasn't helped. He also kinda walks wobbly now. Vet checked out fine, just an old man with arthritis. Sprinkling this on his wet food minimum once a day has done wonders! He gets around more, is not sleeping quite as much, and seems more spunky!!
I bought this for my (very) active cat. He loves to jump to and from high places, so I figured a little collagen for his joints would be a good idea. He shows no sign of slowing down! His fur was already pretty soft and shiny, but perhaps it has gotten a little bit more so. I can't see his skin ... so no comment on that. Flavor wise, he seems to love it. He likes most of his wet foods, but there are a few flavors he doesn't like as much. I've noticed he definitely eats more of his food when I sprinkle this on his less preferred flavors. Overall, I highly recommend Wags collagen.
I bought this for my elderly cat (she'll be 18 in July), along with some high calorie vitamins, who was losing her fur and scratching constantly, in hopes that it would help her dry skin. It's been a couple weeks and she's doing so much better. The scratching has almost stopped completely, her fur is coming back, and she isn't as lethargic as she was. Her movements have been significantly better and she's "talking" to me again. Between the vitamins and collagen, she's a much happier furbaby. I wish I'd of found this a few years back.
We have two large Siberian cats, they are 10 and 7. We started by sprinkling small amounts in there food and mixing in it in. We give more now as they seem to like it. Both have beautiful coats, and we wanted to maintain that. They seem to have more energy after eating, as they chase each other around the house. Thanks wags!!!
My cat is not taking it. I tried different options, and no luck! Waste of money for me.
