Touchdog Quantum-Ice Full-Bodied Reflective Dog Jacket with Blackshark Technology

I purchased this snowsuit for my pit terrier mix (55#) in Large. The suit itself is thin altogether. The exterior "shell" fabric is a very thin, but tightly woven plastic-based material, and seems like it may help with the cold/snow (we were not able to test this). The interior "fleece" lining is also super thin, like something you might find inside a pair of gloves. There is elastic around the back legs like it shows in the pictures, but that (and around the openings of each leg) is the only adjustable part of the suit. The large was definitely too tight for my dog, she is very muscular, so it was like trying to sqeeze her into a sausage casing. We bought this for our 16 year old cockapoo after she began to shiver when we got back from walks. She absolutely LOVES it, and frolics around in the snow like she’s the king of the world. She lasts so much longer outside now and is able to stay warm. I love that it covers most of her legs, so with her booties on, we don’t have to worry about snow packing on. It is a little difficult to get on her, but once it’s on her legs, zipping up is easy. And the zip being on the top, instead of underneath, is ingenious.

Just got this last week and tested it this weekend over about 4 miles in slightly warm snow. Got this to help with issues with massive snowballs collecting on my legs because my hair is so soft. Took a little to get used because it does fit around the back hips which is new to me but passed the field test rolling and swimming in the snow. No problems going potty. Extends about 3/4 down my legs and cinches nicely. I was an xs based on neck and chest but medium in length and ordered a small and it fits pretty well. I'm a Lhasa -Havanese mix and weigh maybe 12 pounds and love the snow. I didnt notice any mats around my front legs after my snow adventure. This jacket is amazing. My dog, Willie, runs to the door every time he sees it. It keeps him warms and also reduces the number of ice balls! Absolutely a huge fan of this jacket. It is 100% worth the money!

I have a long haired double coated dog, but, he still gets cold on our hour long 20* snow walks, and this coat kept him comfortable and running around the entire time. It is warm, yet thin, and quite easy to get on the dog. It also repels the elements quite well so i don’t have to dry him off or worse, melt the snow balls that would accumulate without using this coat. The tighteners are helpful for dogs such as mine, that are little Houdini’s in coats. (Hates his raincoat).

This is a nice dog jacket as long as your dog isn't running around in snow. It is well made and easy to zip up. When running around in 6" of new snow, the snow collected in each of the legs of the jacket.

It's a great jacket fits great in the length, and keeps him really warm - but it's just a little to loose in the width, I wish it had a adjustment strap like it does around the paws. I'm going to have to take it in a little.

today i received a coat for my puppy. it is a waterproof rain jacket and winter coat. It is very nicely made. Bright color red. Problem was, i got 2. somehow i managed to order 2. I got on the chat online for help and advised them of my error. Believe it or not, they credited me for 1 coat and asked me to donate the extra coat to a puppy in need of one!! What other company have you ever heard of that will do that? I never have. I love CHEW.COM. THEY ARE THE BEST!

Got an xs for my mini poodle who has extra long legs. It was just a little too small. They're refunding me for the jacket, and letting me keep it! They've also waived the shipping fee for the next one I ordered. That's awesome!

This jacket is a good quality and a great price. It is easy to put on he dog and great for keeping the snow off her fur.
