A bit oversized for a large donkey. This halter easily fit our full grown quarter horse that is 15.3 hands tall and very sturdy built. We rechecked the label and it did say yearling. We finally found our old yearling halter and it fit our donkey. Maybe it should be labeled as a yearling draft horse.

The product itself is a good quality, but the size runs super big! The yearling size might fit a draft, but certainly not a quarterhorse. It fits my grown horses

The product itself is a good quality, but the size runs super big! The yearling size might fit a draft, but certainly not a quarterhorse. It fits my grown horses though and I do like the soft padding and the break away latch. For the money, this is a great buy! I will buy again, just won't be trying to use this product on a foal that hasn't reached maturity. More sizes are needed that actually go down to a foal/suckling size, becuase this would truly make a great halter to work with weanlings, and yearlings if they could adjust the size options.

NOT sized correctly, cheap hardware

Purchased a yearling halter and it is massive, would fit a full size horse. Not even close to a yearling size. Hardware is cheap nickle and feels flimsy. No way

Just what I wanted. I need a halter with metal eyelets to buckle a halter, at 73 years old. my hands aren't strong enough to push the buckle tongue through tight

Just what I wanted. I need a halter with metal eyelets to buckle a halter, at 73 years old. my hands aren't strong enough to push the buckle tongue through tight holes punched in fabric or leather. I love the turquoise color with the purple padding showing at the edges - my mare is bright sorrel, gorgeous! Sizing is an issue: I bought the Horse size first, it is useable but too big on my Arabian-type mare - the Yearling size is perfect, with room to make it bigger or smaller at the chin buckle and the crown.

Way oversized

bought this halter in a Yearling size, it would only fit a yearling if the horse was some kind of draft horse. Nice halter but sizing is ridiculous. Going to keep
