Simple, easy to use. Great to measure horse accurately. These things haven’t changed in 30+ years and they don’t need to.

Not quite what I expected

When I unpacked it the level arm slid off and two little spring loaded pieces fell out. They appear to be supposed to steady the level arm. I've used other measuring

When I unpacked it the level arm slid off and two little spring loaded pieces fell out. They appear to be supposed to steady the level arm. I've used other measuring sticks that were sturdy and easy to use. This one has a lot of play in the arm and it's difficult to hold everything so the arm is level to get an accurate reading. If you need a really accurate measurment, this is not the stick for you.

Great tool for the price and does the job but not for frequent use. I was looking for something that would work every once in a while, and it is great for that

Great tool for the price and does the job but not for frequent use. I was looking for something that would work every once in a while, and it is great for that. If I had to use it every day I would get a sturdier stick. The horizontal, black plastic piece is very flimsy and looks like it could break easily if handled a little too hard or often.
