My Mini Shetland stud is 42" tall with a slightly wider head than smaller Minis so I ordered the Large size. It fits him PERFECTLY with one hole left on both the noseband and crown piece. It does run on the larger side so that's why I ordered a Large vs an XL. So if you know your pony's size then I recommend to order one size smaller than you normally would. It looks great on Casper and the price couldn't be beat at just $5!
